Composition:

Each gram contains: Doxycycline Hyclate 500 mg.

Indications and Target Animals:

For the treatment of the following respiratory and digestive infections in non-laying chickens:

• Respiratory infections caused by Mycoplasma species and Escherichia coli.

• Haemophilus paragallinarum and Bordetella avium.

• Enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium colinum.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.

• Do not use in animals suffering from severe liver or kidney failure.

Withdrawal Period:

• For meat consumption: 5 days.

• Not permitted for use in chickens producing eggs for human consumption.

Dosage:

Administered via drinking water.

• For non-laying chickens: 25 mg Doxycycline Hyclate per kg of body weight per day, equivalent to 50 mg of the product per kg per day for 3 - 5 days.

• The daily amount added to drinking water must be consumed within 24 hours; fresh drinking water should be prepared every 24 hours.

Notes:

• Not for use in poultry during the laying period or within 4 weeks before the start of the laying period.

• Do not use concurrently with bactericidal antibiotics such as Penicillin and Cephalosporin.

• Absorption of Doxycycline may be reduced in the presence of high amounts of Calcium, Iron, and Aluminum in the feed.

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature below 30°C. Warning: Dispose of any remaining product after opening.
